Petri, is a Spanish born artist who has been residing in the United States for over 25 years. She has traveled extensively and has lived in many places, among them South America, the American Southwest and her native Spain.

The rich warm colors and sun-filled splendor of many of her paintings attests to many of these travels. In particular, her “Mediterranean” collection is filled with recollections of picturesque sun-drenched seaside villages, small cobble stone streets, houses with flower filled verandas, intimate patios and spaces where the peaceful harmony of centuries old Mediterranean living can still be found.

Petri’s passion for painting extends also to the centuries old artistry of flower painting. Within this discipline, tried by many but mastered by few, Petri seems to somehow capture the very fragrance of her flowers in the vivid colors and intricate details of each one of her compositions.

Petri’s passion for painting sprang 12 years ago, and what started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion. It’s something that she loves to do and which brings much pleasure and joy to her. She devotes herself to it whenever she can find free time.

Petri also has two wonderful children, a loving husband, and two beloved, yet somewhat peculiar cats.

Today (June 30th) it’s her 66th birthday! and so on behalf of all her beloved family we would all like to wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
